Lot 1 - Fancy Work
As with all fair categories, you cannot compete against yourself. We ask you to bring multiple items of one type only if they showcase clearly different techniques, for example – a knitted doily, a crocheted doily, a hardanger centerpiece, and an embroidered table runner are four different things. Four crocheted dollies in different colors and sizes are not. Blackwork, Stumpwork, Goldwork, and Japanese embroidery are four different techniques. Four cross stitch tablecloths are not. Please have your items ready for display! Your items should be starched when necessary, and small or delicate items should be pinned to a backing sheet. Please pin booties or small sets together.

Knit and Crochet clothing
As with all fair categories, you cannot compete against yourself. We ask you to bring multiple items of one type only if they showcase clearly different techniques, for example – A Fair Isle mitten, a Sheltland lace glove, and a crocheted beaded glove are three different techniques. Three pairs of stockinette stitch gloves in different sizes and colors are not. Adding stripes is a color choice, not a new technique. Please have your items ready for display! Your items should be starched when necessary, and small items should be pinned to a backing sheet. Your item should be clean – we will not accept items with obvious stains and hygiene issues.
